Project Safe Pet has taken in approximately 600 dogs and puppies since last year from the northern South Carolina region. They come from shelters, the streets, as well as chains and pens. We provide vet care and foster homes until the animals are well and ready to go to our partner rescue groups in New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Virginia. In addition, Project Safe Pet provides a program that spays and neuters hundreds of resident community cats and dogs each year to stop the pet population problem.
