  • Every Zero Fee Raffle adds a tiny 12% supporter-paid service fee. This covers everything—including Stripe’s credit card fees—so your organization keeps the full value of every ticket.
  • Manual or offline ticket entries are absolutely allowed… in moderation. You can add them up to 5% of your total raffle sales before the system gently (but firmly) taps the brakes.
  • Zero Fee Raffles come with one organization user account. Think of it as “one login to rule them all.

Can the service charge be optional on Zero Fee?

The donor-supported service charge is mandatory for two primary reasons:
Legal Compliance: In many jurisdictions, regulations require that all event entrants pay the same fixed price. While legal opinions vary on whether "guilt-based tipping" counts as part of the ticket cost, we choose a conservative approach to ensure your organization remains fully compliant with the law.
Maximizing Revenue: Industry data shows that a nominal, upfront service charge (12% or less) has a minimal impact on "cart abandonment." Conversely, "optional" tipping models often require higher rates to cover those who don't tip. This uncertainty causes 30–40% of donors to abandon their purchase.

Is Zero-Fee really free for my organization?

Yes - We charge no platform fee on qualifying non-profit fundraising campaigns. Your supporters are charged a small service fee upon checkout so that organization has no costs. Our service fee covers the Stripe Credit Card processing fees and our website costs.
