How to set up your Flux Payments account
What you will need
SS-4 / EIN letter
Your IRS EIN confirmation, either the SS-4 letter or your EIN assignment notice. It verifies your organization’s tax ID.
Articles of incorporation
The formation document that shows your organization legally exists and identifies who runs it.
Three months of bank statements, plus a voided check
Recent statements for the account where funds will land. The voided check is only needed if your account and routing numbers are not already printed on the statements.
Proof of identity
A government-issued photo ID, a driver’s license or passport, for an officer of your organization.
One thing to know up front. You enter these into your Flux application yourself. They never go to Chance2Win, and we cannot submit the application for you. The account is opened in your organization’s name, with your own information and documents.
Set up your payment account
Flux Payments is a U.S.-based processor built for nonprofit raffles, including regulated prizes like wine, bourbon, cigars, and firearms. You open the account in your organization’s name through a short online application, so your funds stay fully in your control. Most organizations are approved the same or next day.
Have the four documents above ready, then start your application. You complete it yourself on the Flux site, in your organization’s name.
You connect your payment account before your raffle goes live, so you collect funds from the very first ticket. No scramble mid-campaign.
Step by step
Gather your four documents
SS-4 / EIN letter, articles of incorporation, three months of bank statements (plus a voided check if your account and routing numbers are not on the statements), and an officer’s photo ID.
Open your Flux application
Go to the Flux application site and complete the application in your organization’s name. You fill it out yourself, so the account belongs to your organization.
Upload your documents and submit
Add the four documents inside the application, then submit it for review. Everything goes to Flux, not to Chance2Win.
Get approved
Flux reviews your application directly. Most organizations are approved the same or next day.
Connect Flux and go live with your fundraiser
Once Flux approves your account, connect it to your raffle on Chance2Win and go live. Flux works with both the Zero Fee and Premium plans, so you collect funds from the very first ticket. See our pricing plans.
Common questions
Can Chance2Win apply or open the account for me?
No, and this part matters. We are not allowed to submit a payment application for you. The account has to be opened in your organization's name, with your own information and documents, directly on the Flux application site. We are glad to help you connect it to your raffle once it is approved, but the application itself is yours to complete.
Do I send my bank details to Chance2Win?
No. You enter them directly into your Flux application. Chance2Win never collects, stores, or handles your banking information, and we never touch your funds.
Which Chance2Win plan works with Flux?
Both. Flux works with the Zero Fee plan and the Premium plan, so you can run a regulated-prize raffle on either one. See our pricing plans.
How long does approval take?
Most organizations are approved the same or next day. Flux reviews each application directly.
Do you provide legal or compliance advice?
No. Chance2Win is a technology provider. Confirming that your raffle and any regulated prize are legal where you operate is your organization's responsibility.
